Job Summary
Under supervision, works as a member of the Special Education Resource Team and in partnership with the Resource Specialist and classroom staff to provide designated instructional services to students with exceptional needs who face challenges to their academic and social success with a focus on assisting students to meet required literacy and transition goals; performs related duties as assigned.

Location
This position is located at El Centro Jr. and Sr. High School.
In-person work is the industry standard for educational entities such as SCOE. Hybrid telecommuting opportunities may be available depending on job duties and department needs.
Examination Process
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete remotely administered examinations, requiring a computer, webcam, and microphone. If you are unable to participate remotely, contact the designated representative before the deadline to make alternate arrangements. Tentative exam administration dates:
• Written/Performance Exam: 3/27/25 – 4/3/25
• Oral Exam: 4/825 – 4/11/25
• Final Interview: Date to be determined

Starting salary is $25.91 hour with 6 annual incremental increases to $33.09 plus benefits up to up to $1014.27 per month for single health coverage, $1,639.27 in 2-party and $1,789.27 family health, incl. medical, dental, ortho, life, vision, TSA options
Length of Work Year
6 hours per day, 5 days per week, 200 days per year
