Job Summary
Under general direction, serves as a member of a transdisciplinary team of the Infant Development Program (IDP) serving the needs of infants, toddlers, and their families; provides ongoing assessment, evaluation, service coordination, consultation, and direct student therapy services related to motor, adaptive, and sensory development and other identified developmental needs; plans programming needs and interventions for students; performs related duties as assigned.

An eligibility list is being established for the Physical/Occupational Therapist position, candidates on the eligibility list will be considered for full-time, part-time, or limited-term positions while the list is active.

LOCATION/WORK SCHEDULE
• Work Location: Leo A. Palmiter Jr./Sr. High School located at 2040 Ethan Way, Sacramento, CA 95825
• Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

In-person work is the industry standard for educational entities such as SCOE. Hybrid telecommuting opportunities may be available depending on job duties and department needs.

EXAMINATION/SELECTION PROCESS
Qualified candidates will be invited to complete remotely administered examinations, requiring a computer, webcam, and microphone. If you are unable to participate remotely, contact the designated representative before the deadline to make alternate arrangements. Tentative exam administration dates:

Oral Exam: 3/24/25 – 3/28/25
Final Interview: Date to be determined

Pay Range
54.30 - 69.47 Per Hour

Add'l Salary Info
Starting salary is $54.30 hour with 6 annual incremental increases to $69.47 plus benefits up to $1,014.27 per month for single health coverage, $1,639.27 for 2-party, $1,789.27 for family (includes medical, dental, life, vision, and TSA options)

Length of Work Year
8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 200 days per year
