Qualifications: 

1. Strong understanding of programs and services available in the Lockport City School District and local community
2. Experience working with students of all ages and parents/legal guardians
3. The ability and commitment to use technology as a tool
4. Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement
5. Broad experience with a variety of de-escalation techniques, dignity for all students act, restorative practices
6. Ability to differentiate re-entry planning to meet individual student needs
7. Willingness to work/travel district-wide
8. Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
9. Loyalty and evidence of being a team player
10. Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community

Requirements:

NY State certification in any of the following: any area of teaching, school Counselor, school psychologist, school social worker
