Assignment:                        
4-10  hours per week on Saturdays and/or Sundays from December through March
Must be able to attend training on November 17, 2024 from 6-8pm

Wages:                                    
Primary Objective of Position:   
To gym supervise youth basketball games for youth K-12.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. To supervise youth basketball games in a safe and respectful manner.
  2. To ensure the proper use and care of the facilities and equipment used.
  3. To enforce safety rules and take disciplinary action when necessary.
  4. To supervise referees.
  5. To handle issues or conflicts on and off the court in a respectful manner.
  6. To assist with refereeing games in the absence of a referee.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of basketball
  2. Ability to work with groups of students and adults.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
  4. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  5. Experience playing and/or officiating basketball
  6. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  7. First aid and CPR certificate (provided if needed).
