Assignment:
Establish and lead a new girls flag football program in practices and weekly games against other schools April-June.

Wages:
Stipend (minimum of $3,000)
Not medical or dental benefit eligible 

Primary Objective:
Provide coaching and instruction for a girl’s flag football program for grades 9-12.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the team at two weeknight practices and Sunday game days each week in collaboration with assistant coach.
  2. Help all players develop to their full potential in a positive environment.
  3. Implement program goals and standards consistent with MCEC and Minnetonka School district guidelines.
  4. Effectively communicate the practice and game schedule with athletes and parents.
  5. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  6. Promote respect for officials, coaches, visiting teams, parents, fans, students, athletes and administrators.
Job Qualifications:
  1. Extensive football knowledge preferred
  2. Evidence of successful coaching experience
  3. Ability to effectively teach fundamental skills
  4. Positive, enthusiastic, respectful attitude
  5. Ability to relate well to participants and parents
  6. Ability to work in a collaborative coaching atmosphere
  7. Commitment to program’s high standards
  8. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
