Primary Objective of Positions: 
Ensure a safe and fun environment for Ski & Snowboard participants. This individual will be stationed out of the chalet at Hyland Hills Ski Area.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Travel to the resort prior to the arrival time of participants to prepare rental forms, waivers, early pick up/late arrival forms, reserve seats for the group, etc.
  2. Assist participants who need additional waivers, equipment rentals, etc.
  3. Must attend all Ski & Snowboard Club trips.
  4. Ensure safe experience for participants at the resort; supervise participants, assist with injuries/accidents.
  5. Work collaboratively with other chaperones, head chaperones, and resort staff to coordinate group lessons, rentals, and supervise participants on the hill and in the lodge.
  6. Be visible and accessible at all times.
  7. Return required forms and lost and found items to the Community Ed office by 9 am the next day.
  8. Establish a positive and friendly relationship with participants, resort staff, other chaperones, parents/guardians and bus drivers.
  9. Enforce School District policies.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  11. Enforce MCEC COVID-19 safety precautions
