Position Details:
Dates:  11/8/24-4/1/25
15-20 hours/week, includes Saturdays and Sundays 

Wage:  
$20.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Not medical or dental benefit eligible. 

Primary Objective of Position:
Ensure a safe and fun environment for students, staff, and parents at Minnetonka Public Schools Tonka Dome.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the transition from one rental group to the next rental group.
  2. Ensure that dome equipment (nets, goals, benches) is used respectfully and stored properly after use.
  3. Ensure that L Screens/Catcher Screens/Tees stay in their respective batting cages – North or South.
  4. Ensure that the South batting cage will be organized/cleared after use – End zone nets pulled to sideline/nets put to the side.
  5. Keep West sideline clear of player equipment,spectators, nets, and goals to allow safe access to North and South batting cages.
  6. Ensure that soccer and lacrosse goals are moved to East sideline when not in use – not pushed into the North or South end zones.
  7. Monitor non-renters who try to use the dome.
  8. Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  9. Monitor and enforce the policies of the Tonkadome:
    1. No seed, food or beverages other than water
    2. No lawn chairs with pointed legs
    3. No tape on turf
    4. Ensure rental organizations pick up garbage left by their users when their rental period is complete
    5. Enforce other rules as posted
 
Job Qualifications:
  1. Evidence of successful experience in program leadership.
  2. Evidence of successful experience in working with youth and adults.
  3. Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Knowledge of and experience with athletic equipment.
  5. Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  6. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  7. Evidence of ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with frequent interruptions.
