This job implements all of the normal duties required of a custodian in a school setting. The responsibilities of a custodian are to provide custodial services at assigned site(s); ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations; and assisting in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events. The custodian will work in coordination with other custodians, the principal, and the custodial director.
A high school diploma is required as well as proficiency in sanitation and custodial duties. Prior custodial experience is preferred but not required.
FCPS serves over 2,900 students and families in 9 learning environments. Our schools include 4 elementary, 2 middle and 1 comprehensive high school. Additionally, we serve students in a career and technical center and an alternative center. FCPS is located within close proximity to the Ford BlueOval City and the new Buckee's.
