Assignment Information:



Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance and instructional support to ELL students
  2. Carry out lesson plans as designed by supervising teacher, including providing assistance with student software applications.
  3. Meet with the supervising teachers to review progress of students.
  4. Assist teachers with record keeping, including information related to student assessments and transportation.
  5. Assist students and their families with community and school related communication.
  6. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.


Job Qualifications:

  1. Evidence of experience working with learners from different cultural backgrounds.
  2. Evidence of ability to demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  3. Evidence of being responsible, adaptive and creative.
  4. Evidence of the ability to work well with diverse populations.
  5. Evidence of excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
