This position serves as part of the leadership team of the Professional Learning Department. This position facilitates collaboration with other PWCS central office departments to ensure that professional learning for all division staff is high quality, aligned to standards for professional learning, designed to engage adult learners, reflective of division priorities and the strategic plan, and committed to creating conditions for all students to learn and thrive. This position requires a commitment to learning and achievement for all, equity, continuous improvement, and organizational coherence. This position shall be responsible, under the supervision and direction of the supervisor for professional learning design and delivery, for performing essential responsibilities in support of professional learning for the division. This requires proficiency with high quality professional learning, adult learning, instructional leadership, supervision, professional communication, and project management. Participates in special projects as directed by division or executive leadership. This position supports the purpose of the Professional Learning Departments, and works collaboratively with the Student Learning, Student Opportunity and Multilingual Services, Special Education, Career and Technical Education, College Career and Student Support, Human Resources, and other division departments to design and deliver high quality professional learning for employees.
