Position:
Community Consolidated School District 15 in Palatine is seeking immediate-to-hire, highly-qualified individuals to substitute teach in all 20 of our elementary/junior high schools!

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver instruction in the absence of the classroom teacher via provided lesson plans.
  • Provide support to staff and students.
  • Perform related job duties and responsibilities carried out by the absent teacher.
Incentives:
  • The amount of days you work is up to you*! Days are available if you choose to sign up for them!
  • Full Day rate $135
  • Retired District 15 Teacher $165
  • PA Sub rate $105
Requirements:

Applicants must hold at least one of the following licenses through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE):
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Substitute License (SUB)
  • Paraprofessional License (PARA)
  • Short Term Substitute License (STS)

About Palatine School District 15 - Palatine (Illinois)

Community Consolidated School District 15 — the second largest elementary district in Illinois with more than 11,000 pre-K through 8th grade students — has 13 schools serving grades K-5, 5 middle schools serving grades 6-8, and one preschool learning center and alternative/therapeutic day school. It also hosts dual language programs in three schools.

Our district serves a diverse population of all or part of seven northwest suburban communities: Palatine, Rolling Meadows, Hoffman Estates, Inverness, South Barrington, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg. The district consists of approximately 35 square miles, with residents who speak more than 80 languages or dialects.
