Salary: Starting at $59,446
 
Provides and is accountable for the planning, assessment, instruction, communication, human relations, safety, and management of a classroom or assigned instructional setting. Supports FCPS mission to "inspire, enable, and empower students to meet high academic standards, lead ethical lives, and demonstrate responsible citizenship."

Knowledge of the professional Code of Ethics as set forth by Commission on Rehabilitative Counselor Certification (CRCC); knowledge of special needs populations and understanding of adolescent issues; knowledge of business community and employment for individuals with disabilities; ability to maintain confidentiality, good organizational and record-keeping skills; ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, employers, and other agency representatives; and ability to organize time to accommodate multiple responsibilities and communications. Some local travel required.
