Job Description
The STAGES Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) -CONTRACTOR is a state certified teacher responsible for providing services to eligible special education students with visual impairments. The scope of services and supports provided by the teacher will be determined by the students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The teacher serves as a collaborative member of a team that supports students in a virtual academic environment. The Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) - Contractor may be asked to obtain licensure in multiple states and serve students across multiple schools.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
This is an Independent Consultant position (1099).
This is a Full-Time role M-F Between the hours of 8am and 5pm
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI)
Certificates and Licenses:
State specific educator license in area of Visual Impairments or related field

This position is remote and open to residents of the 50 states and D.C. This is an Independent Consultant position (1099).
