Primary Objective of Position: To assist in officiating MCE youth basketball games for grades 3-5
Assignment: 2-6 games per week on Saturdays starting December 7, 2024 through March 8, 2025 Must be able to attend referee training on November 17, 2024 from 6-8pm
Wages: Starting at $15 per game.
Additional $100 stipend for referees that work 25 games
Additional $100 stipend for referees that work 50 games
Job Responsibilities:
To referee youth basketball games in a safe and respectful manner.
To ensure the proper use and care of the facilities and equipment used.
To enforce safety rules and take disciplinary action when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of basketball
Ability to work with groups of students and adults.
Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
