The Bryn Mawr School seeks a long-term substitute Upper School Computer Science teacher to begin on or before February 21, 2025 for approximately 12 weeks. The ideal candidate for this appointment will teach two sections of AP Computer Science A and one section of AP Computer Science Principles. Candidates will work closely with the Computer Science Department, share a genuine passion for Computer Science, and, optimally, be familiar with educational technology and Computer Science trends to engage, inspire, and prepare students for the Advanced Placement tests in May. Depending on the candidate this position could be part of an advisory team and advise a group of students.
Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate proficiency in:

Java coding, including Arrays, ArrayList, 2D Arrays, Inheritance, and Recursion

Basic Python coding
