Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to provide high-quality language instruction to students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The ideal candidate will empower English language learners (ELLs) to succeed academically while promoting inclusion and respect for multicultural perspectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging language lessons tailored to students' proficiency levels.
• Use diverse teaching strategies to support listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Create a welcoming classroom environment that values students' native languages and cultures.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate language support into other subjects.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Advocate for ELLs and promote family engagement within the school community.
• Stay current with best practices in ESL education and culturally responsive teaching.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field; ESL teaching certification required.
• Experience working with English language learners in K-12 settings (preferred).
• Familiarity with second language acquisition strategies and tools.
• Strong cultural competence and ability to connect with diverse learners.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and equitable learning environment.
