Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Art Teacher to foster creativity and self-expression through art education. This role offers the opportunity to shape students' understanding of art and culture while promoting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging art curricula aligned with state and national standards.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
• Introduce students to diverse artists, including those from underrepresented communities.
• Organize art exhibitions and events that celebrate cultural heritage and diversity.
• Utilize various art mediums (painting, digital art, sculpture, etc.) to cater to student interests.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate art across subjects.
• Promote an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education or related field; teaching certification required.
• Experience teaching art in K-12 settings (preferred).
• Ability to create lesson plans that reflect cultural and artistic diversity.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
