This position is required by Title VI and Title IX as an integral part of the Equity Office, which is accountable for responding to, investigating, and resolving allegations of discrimination or harassment involving students or employees. The work involves exercise of judgment, accountability, and discretion. This position shall be responsible for investigating reports and complaints of discrimination or harassment; analyzing and evaluating evidence in order to synthesize, summarize, and present information, both orally and in writing; providing accurate information to various stakeholders regarding areas of expertise; advising school-based administrators and others regarding areas of expertise; participating in the development and provision of educational programs and training to School Division staff and other stakeholders regarding areas of expertise; and supporting the Title IX and Student Equity Officer and the Equity and Employee Relations Officer, including by performing such duties as may be required in the absence of those individuals.
