AVID will be needed at all 12 middle schools and the 7 high schools 

1. Times for tutoring is 7:30-2:50 HS and 8:45-4:10 MS depending on the campus assignment and the tutor availability.  

2.   AVID Tutors follow the GISD school calendar.

Preference is given to those applicants who attend a college or university in the area to be eligible and must apply online first on the Garland ISD website before contacting the AVID office.

Once there is an online application, tutors may send an email to: Ann Mulvihill at AMulvihill@garlandisd.net to set up an interview time. 

Tutor training is mandatory for all AVID tutors. Tutor training is paid. Training is dependent on experience.
