Job Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• BA in education or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, with emphasis on project-based and hands-on learning approaches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Teacher at JCDS, you will:

• Collaborate with fellow educators to uphold our commitment to motivating and guiding students towards realizing their unique potential.
• Foster a challenging yet nurturing environment, ensuring every student's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Ensure differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs.
• Implement project-based and hands-on learning experiences, guiding students in developing critical thinking skills.
• Supervise students during recess and lunch, promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
• Assist in lesson planning, making sure to incorporate JCDS's values of self-discipline, love for learning, and social responsibility.
• Engage in proactive communication with all school stakeholders, strengthening the ties of our interconnected community.
• Embrace and model our school's commitment to character education and social responsibility, preparing students for the ever-evolving global landscape.
• Perform any other duties as assigned, partnering closely with the Head of School to uphold the gold standard of JCDS education.
