Bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years related professional experienceThe School Psychologist provides psychological evaluation services including, but not limited to, assessments, reports, providing related educational recommendations, consultation, therapy, and any other applicable educational services for students of the school.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Ensures all newly received documents (evaluation team reports, etc.) are compliant; Takes the necessary steps to ensure compliance when necessary; Ensures all existing documents are compliant following the guidelines set forth by the state;Administers academic and other assessments to currently enrolled students per mandated time frames;Leads evaluation team report meetings; Participates in the school’s intervention assistance team;Assists the Principal of Special Programs indeveloping/leading/participatingin professional development for the general education staff, special education staff, and parents of students in special education programs; Works closely with guidance counselors to provide training in various emotional health areas;Keeps abreast of all changing legislative issues impacting special education eligibility.Assists with the implementation of school, procedures and projects;Serves on school committees; participates in professional development sessions;Assists with national Stride efforts including participation in special projects and/or task-forces, developing policies and procedures and training.Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.Minimum Required Qualifications:Master’s degree ANDPrevious experience as a school psychologistCertificates and Licenses: Current statecertification/licensurein school psychologyResidency Requirement:Must be a Colorado residentOTHER REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to Clear required background checkAbility to travel throughout the state in order to administer assessments, and outside of the state for professional development opportunitiesWork Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.Exempt (salary): Post annual salary We anticipate the salary range to be $75,000-$77,988 USD Annual. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
