Job DescriptionCertified Support Staff focuses on promoting student success by responding to identified needs through implementation of a comprehensive programs and services that help guide all learners in their academic success, personal and social development, and career and college planning and readiness. Bachelor’s degree, 0-1 year of related professional experienceSpecial Programs Coordinator works with the special education team to ensure that IEPs are compliant based on state and federal guidelines. They work closely with the Transition Coordinator and Special Programs Manager. The Compliance Coordinator plans the weeklymultidisciplinary teammeetings with school teams. They are expected to meet all internal deadlines. We recommend the candidate has a Master's degree in Special Education and must hold or be able to obtain Missouri Department of Education licensure.The Special Programs Coordinator at Missouri Virtual Academy (MOVA), is a critical participant in the implementation of all policies and procedures related to Special Education programs at MOVA. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining relationships withstate/regional/districtlevel special education leaders, and keeping the Missouri Schools compliant with deadlines related to special education programs. This position will ensure all special education reporting and compliance requirements are met at both schools.This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required.
