At the present time we have four (4) openings for after school Bus Aides at Musselman Learning Center within the Norristown Area School District. 

Job requirements & Responsibilities:

• Maintains order and safety. Free driver to concentrate on safe driving practices.
• Demonstrates patience and understanding. Offer support and direction to children with behavioral difficulties.
• Provides physical assistance to students who have difficulty climbing on or off bus.
• Enforces school discipline code on the bus and reports infractions to teacher and principal.
• Maintains confidentiality in discussing special education students.
• Works amiably and cooperatively with bus drivers, teachers, aides, parents, etc.
• Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance patterns.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

3-4 hours per day**

Rate:  

support staff-Current hourly rate

**hours are starting at elementary dismissal time. If these hours conflict with your regular full time position you are not eligible.
