Effective immediately, we have openings for High School teaching staff to take on Special Class coverage assignments due to unfilled positions. NAHS teachers who are selected will assume full instructional responsibilities for 1/2 of one (1) instructional block that is currently without a district hired teacher in lieu of their duty period.

Qualifications, Duties and Responsibilities:

• NAHS teacher will assume full planing, grading and Teaching
• At least 1 of 2 teachers must be appropriately certified
• Appropriately certified teachers preferred 
• Maximum of one hour per day ( 45 minutes teaching, 15 minutes of grading/planning)
• Current prep/duty period mus align with an instructional block that currently does not have district hired teacher.
• Teacher schedules will not be changed to be eligible for special coverage

Compensation:

$55.00 an hour**

**Special Coverage will be assigned through the end of the semester or the start date of a new hire, whichever occurs first.  

** Administration will determine the assignment of NAHS teachers to Special Coverage, with consideration being given first to certification match and second to teacher seniority
