Job Description:


This cafeteria aide position is part-time, 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, typical hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Primary responsibilites are monitoring students' conduct in the cafeteria and helping to prepare the cafeteria for students.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificates & Licenses: None required.
  • Experience: No job-related experience is required.

Essential Functions:

  • Teaches students the proper use of utensils when needed.
  • Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits.
  • Monitors students to maintain safety and prevent infractions of disciplinary rules.
  • Organizes students to ensure orderly purchase of food and movement to assigned tables.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Clearances:

  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test.

Public Health Compliance

  • Must follow safety and health protocols.
